Ladies Ministry
"The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down." Proverbs 14:1
Women’s ministry is one of the most important areas of any church. We know that God has gifted women with the capacity to carry His heart to their families, their church and their community. Women are passionate, sensitive, strong and very valuable to God and to the body of Christ.
Our goal and vision is to reach women’s hearts with the love of God and encourage them in their destiny. We believe that God has big plans for every woman and values them more than can ever be expressed.
At the heart of the Ladies ministry is the desire to help individuals build a strong, rewarding relationship with other ladies as well as within the overall church family. It is a place where one can come and find a whole new group of caring friends as well as God’s unconditional love.
Every third Saturday of the month the ladies get together for worship, Bible study, personal and spiritual growth, recreation, and fellowship. As well as to discuss up and coming events and Ideas.
Youth Ministry
"You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your hearts give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment." Ecclesiastes 11:9
This youth group is a place where you can belong and be yourself. You can make real friends here. The most important thing about this group is that you can develop your relationship with God, you can be free to worship with us, and you can learn about Him as we study the Word of God. God wants to raise up a young generation (that's you!) to passionately follow and pursue God. This world depends on you. All of your friends are waiting for you to tell them about Him
FYC Bible Study/Lesson
(Ages 11yrs-30yrs): Saturdays @ 10:00 am
YOUTH SABBATH SERVICES
Every 4th Sabbath of the Month 3:00pm-5:00pm.
It is a service of youthful worship and Praise. Come worship with the next generation.
An afternoon of fun and laughter all around.
Kids Ministry
"Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him." Psalms 127:3
Kid's Class is available for children 1-12 yrs of age.
Kid`s class encourages our young ones to develop a relationship with
God by reading and discussing His Word from the Bible, memorizing Scripture, and creating a craft they can take home to remind them of how special they are to God.
Kid's class is available during the Bible study from 10:00am to 11:30pm.
Music Ministry
"Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise." Psalms 100:2,4
Music is the heartbeat of our church and part of worship to God. Worship is the essence of our relationship with our Savoir. We were created to worship God. There is no doubt that when you enter the Calgary Church of God Seventh Day church you truly know and feel that this is what we were created to do. We Love praising the lord in song.
The music ministry is a very vital part of our Church services. Our music adds to the beauty of the service and sets the hearts of the people right. It leads us, or simply sets the mood for praise and worship for the Lord.
We are always looking for new talent. Young, old, men, women we need you and welcome you to be a part of our Music Ministry.
Music Practice is Fridays from 7:30pm-9:00pm
